0ļøāƒ£ My role in the project
In the project, my role was lead project manager and developer. To implement our app, I communicate with our team members(e.g. developer, ux designer), sharing our vision and shaping our pictures. As a developer, I prototyped our apps iteratively, using unity AR foundation. It was hard to manage all team and put together all opinions for the best plan and get things done, but Iā€™ve learned that how to user flow should be managed in AR app.

1ļøāƒ£ Overview
Fandom is a commonplace participatory experience which we can observe in everywhere from Star Wars to politiciansā€™ campaign.[1] The representation of the fandoms has shifted as the development of technology and trends.[2] In South Korea, a lot of fandom communities have emerged and grown their abilities at a great scale.

Specifically, our team focuses on the one idol fandom phenomenon.
The idol fandoms like to sponsor the k-pop singers in person during the idolsā€™ special occasions (e.g. Birthday, Debut anniversary) by promotional campigns on digital billboards on street. For instance, they promoted their star in Time Square which is the most popular location in the States for wide-scale ads.

In this project, we introduced ā€˜Wall-dolā€™,AR social billboard app. The fans able to interact with fans as well as their idols by remaining AR notes in the app. Through the dynamic interactions built in the app, the fans are able to feel social bonds with other fans, and even they can accumulate their own memories on the spot.
